Digitalism is one of the first electronic performance that I have seen live (apart from Daft Punk). Since then, I have had a special connection with this band and their crunchy electronic sounds. I recently took a peak at their new stuff and new remixes of their stuff.
Digitalism – Apollo gize (Fred Falke edit) (love it!)
On Digitalism’s album Idealism, one song contrasted with the other glitchy (yet good) ones and made me feel good: Apollo gize. What Fred Falke adds to this track is what was needed to play it in sets and I love it. I’m a little disappointed with the digitalism remix of the great going nowhere song by Cut Copy.
Cut Copy – Going Nowhere (Digitalism remix)
From the recent hype around Digitalism’s track taken away, I have picked my two favorites for this post. There you go:
Digitalism – taken away (h3rr_k45chk3_74k3n_4w4y remix)
Digitalism – taken away (Digitalfoxlove remix)
The digitalfoxlove remix was unfortunatly too late for the taken away remix contest, but the 25 years old producer still wants to share his fun with us, and it’s truly worth it.
